We started this vlog originally as just a way to share our videos with family and friends. We decided to open them up to anyone, because like you, we had a tough time deciding on places to visit and we were always looking for guidance. Hopefully you will find some of that guidance here and we are happy to answer any questions you may have. We wish you welcome to Photasma.com!
Ireland Travel Emphasis
While this site covers everything from the United States to Europe and everything between, we do place a special emphasis on Ireland as you will notice based on the number of videos from Ireland. Besides being the land where my forefathers immigrated from, my wife Nelida’s brother and his family live in Ireland. Due to that, we tend to travel to Ireland quite often when we can. That also gives us a great local resource for any questions we or you may have.
Breweries & Distilleries
You may also notice a section on Breweries & Distilleries on the site. That is mainly due to my personal interest in craft brews and newly found attraction to whiskey and other distilled spirits. I hope to add many more over time.
Drone Video
A few years ago I purchased a DJI Mavic Pro and I have had a love affair with drones ever since. I love how stable the images are and how it allows me to get video and photos that were not possible before. Over time I hope to continually add to my collection of drone video and hopefully upgrade to newer drones as they become available.
Growth of the Vlog
This vlog will always be a work in progress and I have recently changed the site with a focus on video content. Unlike many other travel bloggers my wife and I have a full-time job to attend to as well. We do this more for fun than to make a profit. I still have much content to edit and post so I have no shortage of content, just time. Keep checking back as I will continually be updating the site. Be on the lookout for footage from one of our favorite pastimes of visiting filming locations of our favorite movies and TV shows. I will be posting videos from Game of Thrones and Outlander filming locations as I get time.
