American Pickers Antique Archaeology Store Le Claire Iowa. We visited Antique Archaeology on a quick trip to visit some friends near Le Claire Iowa. This location is right outside the Quad Cities on Route 67 overlooking the Mississippi River. This location has been featured on numerous American Picker episodes. If you are expecting to see Mike, Frank or Danielle you will probably leave disappointed. I am not sure how much time they spend there but they were certainly not there on our trip. There were some other girls working there that had tattoos, but not sure if that counts.

Anyway, we really enjoyed our visit and apparently they just started shooting episodes of American Pickers again after a hiatus due to the pandemic.

The only disappointment was that most of the antiques are not for sale. They are apparently part of Mike Wolfe’s personal collection. There were a few, but the selection was very limited. The employees stated that since they haven’t been picking due to the virus, selection was limited since their items sell so quickly. Most of what is for sale is merchandise related to the show and the store itself. Things like coffee cups, t-shirts, license plates, etc. . . . While not antiques, we still walked away with some promotional merchandise. My understanding is that this store is owned by Mike Wolfe. He apparently owns a few buildings in town that he is restoring.

I don’t know that I would go too far out of your way to go here, but if you are a fan of the show it definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. If you enjoyed the video please like it and subscribe to our channel to be alerted to future videos. Thanks for watching!

Unlike most travel bloggers that travel full time, we have to balance full time jobs, and elementary school age daughter. We definitely don't travel as much as we would like, but we think our situation is closer to what most travelers are in themselves.
Our family currently lives and loves the Austin, Texas area of the United States. We have lived in many states and even internationally.
